Our Story

A New Chapter in Australia's Defence Story

Indigenous Defence Services was established to bridge two strengths: the deep knowledge of Country held by First Nations Australians, and the modern capability needs of a sovereign defence industry. Drawing on the operational expertise of Eon Protection, we deliver projects where cultural authority and technical excellence meet.

We exist to seek and deploy new defence technologies in Australia, while creating meaningful pathways for Indigenous people into the industry — as operators, technicians, engineers and leaders.
